About Chester Higgins
Chester Higgins Jr. nasce em Fairhope, Alabama, Estados Unidos, em 1946, e cresce em New Brockton, no interior segregado do Alabama, durante o movimento pelos direitos civis. Forma-se no Tuskegee Institute em 1970, orientado pelo fotógrafo P. H. Polk, e tem como mentores Arthur Rothstein, Cornell Capa e Gordon Parks.
